Quadrupeds painted in red ochre on the wall of Panther Cave. THe Panther Cave pictograph panel is assumed to be 4,000 years old. It seems to have been painted in a single event. It is now part of Amistad National Recreation area on the border of Texas and Mexico. The Amistad Reservoir now floods part of Seminole Canyon allowing access by boat from the State Park. Access from the river is impossible due to silt back up at the mouth of the canyon.
