An open-air petroglyph site in southern Iran. The site of Dehtal, spanning around 5 km east to west, situated in the Central District of Bastak County, Hormozgan.province of Iran..The patina on the rocks and the style of the figures provides some possible indication of the period they were made which is considered to span from the ninth millennium BC until the Islamic period. .The motifs include animals, humans, symbols and plants..The figures, which are largely pecked, stand out against the iron oxide hue of the rounded open-air rocks.
