A composite image of the Great Serpent Mound in Adams County, Ohio. The Great Serpent Mound is the world's largest snake effigy. Its total length is over 1,300 feet long. The mound is constructed on a bluff above Ohio Brush Creek. The site is owned and administered by the Ohio History Connection and associated with the Shawnee Nation, Easter Band of the Shawnee and the Absentee Shawnee.
