A morning with Douglas Adair the superintendent of Seminole Canyon State Park going to Panther Cave. Panther Cave is located at the junction of Seminole Canyon and the Rio Grand. The artwork in Panther Cave is classically Pecos River style. There are huge anthropomorphic figures across the entire cave wall. They are many times life sized. The Panther is located on the South (left as you face the panel) wall. The Amistad Reservoir now floods part of Seminole Canyon allowing access by boat from the State Park. Access from the river is impossible due to silt back up at the mouth of the canyon.
