A portion of the Panther Cave pictograph Panel in Amistad National Recreation Area. The panel is thought to have been painted in one event 4,000 years ago. Panther Cave is located at the junction of Seminole Canyon and the Rio Grand. The Amistad Reservoir now floods part of Seminole Canyon allowing access by boat from the State Park. Access from the river is impossible due to silt back up at the mouth of the canyon.
